On July 19th, Xiaomi finally unveiled the much awaited Xiaomi Max 3, a device equipped with a tablet-level 6.9-inch large screen that supports split screen mode, picture-in-picture, Big Mac font and one-hand mode. The smartphone is now on sale on various e-stores, so you if you were looking to buy one, keep reading. Before though, let’s go through some of the Mi Max 3’s key points!
With its full screen design, screen ratio has been increased by 6.5% compared with the previous generation, sporting a screen resolution of 2160 × 1080 , brightness of 500nits, color gamut coverage of 84% NTSC, support for sunlight screen, luminous screen, eye protection mode, endless color temperature mode.
Thanks to the narrow frame and large arc-shaped willow design (back small micro-arc 0.07 mm), the smartphone is comfortable to hold even with its massive screen size.
The Mi Max 3 comes with an extra-large 5500mAh battery and incredible autonomy. The phone can play local video for 17 hours, the local music for 233 hours and has a standby time of 474 hours (close to 20 days). It supports QC3.0 fast charging and comes standard with a 9V/2A charging adapter. It can also charge other devices (you need to bring your own OTG wire)
We then find a rear dual camera 12 million + 5 million pixels , of which the main camera size 1.4 microns, aperture F1.9, support dual-core focus, support AI portrait mode, AI scene mode (206), AT smart object (business card recognition / smart Translation / Smart Exchange Rate Conversion / Polari Tao).
There’s a front 8 megapixel camera with self-timer, 1.12 micron pixel, F2.0 aperture, soft light, with support for AI portrait mode, AI beauty, AI single-camera and face recognition unlock.
Other core configurations include Snapdragon 636 1.8GHz eight-core processor (Adreno 509), 4/6GB LPDDR4X memory, 64/128GB eMMC 5.1 storage (up to 256GB), dual-amp stereo , dual card dual standby full Netcom 5.0 ( Three-select two card slot), dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, 3.5mm interface.
