ZGPAX S79 Smartwatch Review

What to say about this smartwatch?

When it manages to connect to your smartphone it’s a beauty, it is also a clone of the Apple Watch, a smartwatch that costs something like 10 times more.

The ZGPAX S79 does many things, some good, some not, you can read your messages from your fav apps and get Twitter updates, but then it also shows a message when you turn on the “torch” or any other notification your smartphone happens to have; it lets you use it as a remote for stills but then it saves the pics on the smartwatch at a super low resolution, the list goes on and on.

Little bugs aside, this smartwatch really looks classy, it has a solid metal frame, the screen is sharp and bright, the band is made of a soft kind of rubber which actually feels good on your wrist, the watch faces (3+1) are all nice and clean, I definitely love the white one.

The white watch face I was talking about.

Note that this is not just a smartwatch, it is a watch phone as well, which means you can insert your micro-SIM and use it as a “smartphone”, a feature that I’ll probably never use. It’s more likely I’ll just dial in a number on it and call through bluetooth.
It also has a micro-SD slot that lets you use your memory card to save photos and videos, or play your music on your watch.

Battery like is OK, it’ll last you 1 full day, maybe 1 and half, don’t expect more.
